Welcome to the Home page of The Cords. One of the finest, modern bands in the Boston area, and one of a very few wedding bands that holds the distinction of being a Premier band for Best Bands.
The Cords are comprised of six Boston musicians who have played together in wedding, club, and original bands for more than a decade. You’ll hear everything from jazz standards to funk, R&B and soul, to country, to classic and modern rock… even that new indie tune you keep hearing on the radio.
Their diversity is certainly impressive, but it is likely to be the remarkable accuracy, energy, and feel with which The Cords performs that will blow you away. The band’s instrumentation includes both male & female lead vocalists, guitar, keyboards, sax, bass, and drums.
The Cords stunning diversity in their song list extends to their ability to provide music for ceremony and cocktail hour. Solo musicians, to a compact jazz ensemble, a number of different combinations and styles can handle these formalities and, are readily available, and cost little to add.
